You will need to remove the side control panel to expose the actual igniter that is sitting underneath the Crossover Ignition Rocker. Look at your side control panel and find the Cross Over Ignition Rocker. If you do not have an electric ignition then you have a piezeo ignition and will need to choose between a black and red model. There were three different ignition systems utilized with the 22.5 inch Flavorizer bars but it’s pretty easy to figure out which igniter you need. If you know the length of your grill’s Flavorizer bars AND the style of your igniter then you can just about find any major part you need for your Weber gas grill. I will walk you through those cases when it is important. There are some grills where, in addition to understanding your Flavorizer bars, you will need to understand your ignition system. Always measure the Flavorizer bars from the base where the length is greatest. Some Flavorizer bars are tapered and are longer at the bottom than at the top. Measure the Length of the Flavorizer Bars. The key to finding the right part for a Weber gas grill is measuring and counting the number of Flavorizer bars in your grill.
