![]() ![]() Born in Italy, Jeff went to high school in Japan, college in the Philippines, taught school in Brazil, and has traveled extensively around the world for the cause of God’s Kingdom. A decade ago, Jeff and Pam spent a couple of years serving as missionaries with Pioneers based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. His prior ministry experience includes serving local churches in Lakewood, Aurora, and Longmont, Colorado as both an Associate and Senior Pastor along with Pam, his wife of forty-five years. He served as an associate pastor from 1971 to 1990 and as lead pastor from 1990 until his retirement in 2017. He has also served in pastoral ministry since 1970, most recently serving as interim pastor of Grace Baptist, Laramie, Wyoming. Before Hooper, during and following Denver Seminary, he was hired as the children’s pastor at Bear Valley Church in Lakewood and served in that capacity for six years. Before that, he served four years as the pastor of the Hooper Baptist Church. Now he is semi-retired and living in Colorado Springs. Mike Lundberg had been the pastor of Church on the Hill in Montrose, Colorado for 25 years. Regional Care Pastor–Colorado Outside Denver Metro John and Lori have two sons: Jackson, who lives with his wife, Peyton, in Colorado Springs and Cameron, who lives in Laramie, WY. She is a lover of book discussions, live music, fitness, and fashion. She has served in the Body of Christ in varying ways, including as a youth sponsor, small group host, Sunday school teacher, and women’s ministry worker. Lori is an energetic, cheerful, and supportive wife and mother. John is married to Lori, his wife of 30 years. John spends most of his free time reading, drinking coffee, and riding his bicycle as far as he can. He has served on the board of Rocky Mountain Church Network and has participated in church assessments, leadership development, and pastoral coaching in that role. John is passionate about helping churches make disciples by connecting with their communities and impacting the next generation. He has ministered to students and adults in small-town and big-city settings in churches that have ranged from 150 to 2500, serving several Rocky Mountain Church Network churches along the way.
