![]() But I’ve found that though it may tingle, my skin gets better and eventually the tingling goes away. I have an interesting relationship with it. I also changed out my cleanser from vanicream gentle cleanser to Cerave hydrating cleanser. I also put Vaseline over the patches which always seems to help, but of course cause a milia like bump to form if I put on too much. I do develop a couple closed comodones when using vanicream. It looks like a crazy smeary mess, but is soothing. ![]() I don’t necessarily like vanicream cream, but I healed my red patch from using it directly on my wet face. Any brand of micellar water ruins my skin almost instantly. I don’t usually use prescriptions for my rosacea. I always screw up my face when it looks good. I started using the AZ when my skin was super clear and “beautiful” looking. I stopped the AZ because it was causing severe red patches.
